Why Study Prophecy?
Introduction | The First Conflict |
Jesus, The Big Deal | Big Deal 2
Nebuchadnezzar's Dream | Dream of 4 Beasts There are several reasons for studying Bible Prophecy. Here are a few of them:
The Revelation of . . .The purpose of theses studies, as with this whole website, is to point the reader to Jesus Christ. It is true that the Book of Revelation does talk about catchy topics such as the mark of the beast and the number 666, but John tells us very plainly that this is not the "Revelation of the Beast" nor is it the "Revelation of the Four Horsemen." Instead, it is "The Revelation of Jesus Christ," Revelation 1:1 What will we be talking about then? Our Focus throughout the book of Revelation will be to uplift Christ, our Sin Pardoning Savior, and the progress of the Gospel from Apostolic times to the Glorious Second Coming of Christ. Will we talk about the Mark of the Beast, the Four Horsemen, or the Man with the Number 666?YES, we will cover the Four Horseman, the Mark of the Beast and the Man with the Number 666 as well as Babylon and several other topics. But we will cover them in the Light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ always. It is possible to have an accurate understanding of all of these things and still be lost. We must have more than a head knowledge of Bible prophecy to be saved. The Bible says, "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble," James 2:19. Therefore, in our quest to unfold the meaning of the book of Revelation, we will uplift Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
